About Laguna Phuket Golf Club

Laguna Golf Phuket is an 18-hole, par-71 golf course, set within the world renowned Laguna Phuket Resort – Asia’s first fully integrated destination resort. With easy accessibility by complimentary shuttle services between the surrounding hotels in Laguna Phuket, the recently redesigned golf course has been revitalized to reach world class standards. The layout is very playable yet truly challenging golf course for enthusiasts of all abilities. Measuring 6,756 yards, the course features a wealth of scenic lagoons, coconut groves and undulating fairways. After fully reopening in January 2015, the new landscape provides golfers with two distinct scenic experiences with lush tropical foliage on the front nine, while the back holes feature coconut groves and sand bunkers. A scenic surrounds comprising of Phuket Mountains and environmental lagoons, combine to make Laguna Golf Phuket a truly idyllic golf paradise. The course design focuses on position and strategy from the tee, with well-placed bunkers and water hazards to consider. The USGA specification greens provide superb quality playing surfaces year-round, with well-designed contouring and run-off areas that offer a wealth of shot options. Undulating fairways meander through the Laguna Phuket lagoons, with a native cultural experience well represented to provide a very authentic, natural essence. The new layout highlights sustainable environmental conservation, of which Laguna Phuket is renowned. Great emphasize is placed on the natural surroundings, combined with local wildlife to create a tranquil holiday paradise for golfers. A native cultural experience has been well represented with reused wooden steps, golf course furniture and decorative traditional Thai fishing boats to provide a local essence.
